Dave BernardWhat first impressed Dave Bernard about sailing was the sublime peace and independence that it afforded. He started sailing 42 years ago and in that time he has explored the waters in and around New England from Maine to Connecticut as well as parts of New York. For two years he moored his boat in the British Virgin Islands and he has also sailed the warm waters of the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Abaco’s in the Bahamas. Dave is passionate about the art and the beauty of sailing and he enjoys inspiring others to appreciate the original “green” and fully renewable past-time. For when we sail we borrow a little wind and give it back, leaving no carbon footprint. Dave Bernard invites you to learn to sail following the highly acclaimed curriculum developed by US SAILING. You will learn to sail safely, skillfully and confidently in a non-threatening environment. |
