James Meade

Jim Meade has over 40 years of sailing experience in New England. He completed the ASA Bareboat Charter Certification, US Sailing Instructor Certification, and earned a USCG 50GRT Masters license.

Jim raced in the North American Championships in Sunfish and in the New England Regional Championships in Sunfish, 420’s, and Stuart Knockabouts. He has raced competitively for many years in the Figawi, Bassackwards, and Buzzards Bay Regatta as the Captain of a Tartan 28 named Moxie.

Jim was a Charter Captain for one week cruises out of Boston harbor, in Long Island Sound, and in the Virgin Islands. He has also provided yacht delivery services from Maine to Boston. Jim is available for private sailing lessons and private charters in Buzzards Bay and Nantucket Sound. He can be reached through the Cape Cod Sailing School.
